Wallace & Howe is a family business working closely with interior designers, architects and fit out companies to make the very best upholstered furniture available
Our company name is a nod to our founders’ mothers Brenda Wallace and Sheila Howe from which we drew our inspiration when setting up our upholstery company.
We use only kiln dried hardwood timber frames which are glued, screwed and dowelled in the traditional manner to ensure every single piece of furniture we make is built up from a strong foundation. Depending on client’s specifications we use a range of different components when making a sofa or chair. We use coil springs and feather filled cushions for a comfortable, long lasting sofa. We can also specify a feather/down mix or a feather jacket wrapped around a foam inner core if clients don’t want to plump feather cushions on a daily basis. Our standard sofas are offered with fibre back cushions and foam seat cushions sitting on serpentine springs.
